Work in small groups: math, language, culture, art and dramatization (role play),  science.

Trabajo en pequeños grupos: matemáticas, lecto-escritura, ciencias sociales, arte y dramatizaciones (juego de roles).

Project: The children bring an initial motivation and their ideas will develop a theme; enriched with different kinds of intelligences, and choices given by the teacher to facilitate children's work.

Proyecto:Los niños proveen de una idea motivadora y sus ideas hacen surgir el tema de investigación, enriquecido con los distintos tipos de pensamientos y las propuestas facilitadoras de la maestra.

Atelier/ Taller

Artistic space with alternative modalities, techniques, instruments, tools and materials.

Espacio artístico con materiales, herramientas, instrumentos,  técnicas y diversas modalidades de arte.

The most important aspect  is to help the children find their own style, by sharing their talents and their discoveries.

Lo mas importante es ayudar a su hijo a encontrar su propio estilo e intercambiar con sus amigos sus descubrimientos y talentos.

 A childs way of expression is a beautiful way of observing and recording children’s learning, becoming the basis of our dialog with parents. Our work at the atelier will provide  a treasure trove of children’s work.

Una  maravillosa oportunidad para observar los procesos de  aprendizaje de los niños basándonos en el dialogo con los padres.

A place where children’s different styles will be explored in a favorable and peaceful atmosphere.

Music/ Música 

It is a way to communicate every theme, activity and new concept. Providing the children with musical skills, this will allow them a way to express themselves.

Es nuestro medio de comunicación en cada tema y un concepto nuevo de dar a los niños habilidades musicales con las que puedan encontrar  sus propias maneras de expresión.

Space where they will be familiar with multicultural music,  instruments, rhymes and rhythms.

PhysEd/ Educación Física & Yoga

Activities set out by the teacher to be discovered and explored by the children.

Actividad dispuesta por la maestra para ser descubierta y trabajada por los niños. 

Snacks/ Meriendas

Snacks and lunch will be provided by the parents. We ask that no sweets or empty foods be sent in the lunch. Fruits make a nice dessert.

Part of our program includes practicing table manners at lunchtime. This involves carefully setting on the table, laying out the food, having a moment of quiet and then cleaning the dishes and the table. Placemats, plates and napkins are provided.

La merienda y el almuerzo serán ofrecidos por los padres. Les sugerimos no enviar dulces ni comida empacada. Las frutas son una buena alternativa de postre.

Parte de nuestro programa incluye la práctica de buenas maneras en la mesa . Platos y servilletas serán ofrecidos por Alerces.

Field trips/ Paseos

During the course of the year, the students will do field trips to enrich their learning experiences.  Field Trip information will be sent on the communication book. The "maestras" may ask for parental assistance and supervision of field trips.

Durante el transcurso del año, los estudiantes tendrán salidas de campo o paseos para enriquecer su experiencia de aprendizaje. Las maestras pueden necesitar de la asistencia voluntaria de los padres para supervisar estas actividades.
