This is the first Spanish Immersion school in Saskatoon. Spanish is a “gateway” to many other languages (French, Italian, Portuguese, etc.). Preschoolers will absorb language along with sights, sounds, and sensory awareness from the stimulating and challenging environment. “It is important that the early learning experiences a child receives during the first five years of life be of high-quality because 90 percent of brain development occurs during those years.”(McCain, Hon. Margaret Norrie and Mustard, J. Fraser. 1999)

As Saskatoon parents become more sophisticated in their child- rearing, they will demand that their children be educated through the Reggio Emilia approach, balanced integration of the most well known pedagogical studies.
